University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Drug Dangers
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the dangers of drug abuse on individuals and society.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the seriousness of this phenomenon, ways to address it, and the legal penalties for traffickers and users.
The workshop included a lecture by Dr. Dhurgham Fadhel Hussein, a lecturer at the college, who highlighted the challenges facing societies in the modern era, as drugs pose a major threat to public health, social order, and economic stability.
