University of Basra continues its planting campaign to promote green spaces
The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra has continued its afforestation and planting campaign in the college's gardens and approaches as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance green spaces and preserve the environment.
The campaign witnessed the planting of several fruit and ornamental trees to contribute to improving the university environment.
This campaign, which is part of the "National Afforestation Day" activities, aims to protect vegetation, encourage agriculture, enhance environmental awareness, expand the green area, and spread the culture of afforestation and care for the environment in universities and educational institutions.
