University of Basrah is Seeking Cooperation with Basra Gas Company
The Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, met with a delegation from Basra Gas Company.
The two sides discussed enhancing the skills of engineering and technical personnel according to international standards adopted in the oil and gas sector, which will contribute to developing local competencies and raising the level of safety and operational efficiency.
They also reviewed training and evaluation mechanisms according to OPITO standards, one of the most important accrediting bodies in the field of occupational safety and health in the oil and gas sector.
