For Sustainable Development, Environmental Conservation, and Increased Green Spaces, University of Basrah Continues its Tree-planting Campaign

The Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basrah continues its tree, plant, and palm-planting campaign. This is in implementation of the Prime Minister's initiative to plant 5 million trees and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's plans to mitigate the effects of accelerating climate change and address desertification. This is in support of Iraq's sustainable development plans to address environmental problems.
