Basra University Organizes Workshop on Al-Ain Foundation's Services for Orphans
The College of Arts at the University of Basra organized a workshop on the services provided by the Al-Ain Foundation for Orphans and its contributions to the community.
The workshop aims to acquaint the faculty members and staff with the foundation's efforts in serving orphans and the community, instilling a culture of giving and humanitarian work among university students.
The workshop included a lecture by the foundation's Basra representative, Ahmed Mujbil Abdullah, who highlighted the role of Al-Ain Foundation as an independent, non-profit organization endorsed by the Supreme Religious Authority, Ali Al-Sistani. The foundation enjoys public benefit status and consultative status with the United Nations. Additionally, the workshop introduced the “My Story” program, the first of its kind in Iraq, aimed at rehabilitating orphans psychologically, educationally, and professionally to ensure a better future for them.
