University of Basrah Organizes Awareness Seminar on Laylat al-Qadr

The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, Department of Religious Affairs in Basra, organized an awareness seminar entitled "Laylat al-Qadr is Better than a Thousand Months."

The seminar aimed to focus on the virtue and greatness of Laylat al-Qadr and the most important recommended acts during it.

The seminar, presented by Sheikh Hani al-Asadi, Sheikh Muhammad al-Asadi, and Sheikh Adnan al-Salihi, included a review of the significance of this blessed night and its status as a night of mercy, forgiveness, and freedom from Hellfire. God has made it better than a thousand months, during which angels descend with mercy and blessings, making it a great opportunity for believers to attain reward and forgiveness.
