University of Basra holds the eleventh session of its regular council
The University of Basra held the eleventh morning session of its regular council for the academic year 2024-2025 under the chairmanship of Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, in the presence of his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, the secretary of the council, and its members.
The council voted on the creation of studies, the reconstitution of some advisory offices, and other matters on its agenda. It also emphasized the implementation of ministerial directives and the instructions of the Opinion Commission.
The council also discussed the local government's request to provide it with letters and theses related to historical, heritage, literary, artistic, political, and economic aspects. It also voted on proposals to support the educational process and develop the research, administrative and financial reality in the university's formations.
