As part of its environmental sustainability policy, the University of Basra organizes a volunteer campaign to plant its gardens

As part of efforts to enhance green spaces and improve the university environment, the Faculty of Marine Sciences at the University of Basra organized a new voluntary campaign to plant its gardens.

The campaign witnessed wide participation from students and affiliates, who contributed to planting seedlings and caring for the planted areas, reflecting the university community's commitment to preserving the environment, as the College of Agriculture provided significant support for this initiative by donating a number of various seedlings.

The participants expressed their thanks to the College of Agriculture for its valuable contribution, stressing the importance of continuing such environmental events, as they have a positive impact on improving the university environment and enhancing environmental awareness among students.
