University of Basra receives Irfan Middle School for Girls
The General Secretariat of the Central Library received a delegation from Irfan Middle School for Girls as part of a scientific school trip that included a group of distinguished students and school staff.
"The visit aimed to inform the students about the facilities and sections of the library, the circumstances of its establishment, the history of its origins, the precious books it contains, which represent an important cognitive heritage in Iraqi civilization, and how this ancient library contributed to the sustainability of knowledge," said Dr. Iman Shamkhi Jaber, Secretary General of the Central Library. and how this ancient library has contributed to the sustainability of knowledge and the education of the Iraqi individual and society, and the services it provides indispensable for students of undergraduate and graduate studies and researchers of science and knowledge from various Iraqi universities, as well as the books, sources, periodicals and scientific references, whether paper or electronic.
