University of Basra organizes a seminar on teaching thinking skills

The Faculty of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a scientific seminar entitled "Thinking Education Skills", with the participation of academics and specialists in the field of education and psychological guidance.

The seminar aimed to introduce the types of intellectual skills and mechanisms for developing them, and to promote critical and creative thinking among students.

The seminar, which was attended by a number of teachers, included several topics that dealt with defining the types of thinking, focusing on critical thinking and ways to develop it in students, the importance of scientific and creative thinking in students' lives, and ways to develop thinking skills through professional training, which contributes to improving the academic performance of students at various stages of their studies.
