The Faculty of Law at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the role of the university in developing a culture of human rights: A Reading in Political Culture
The seminar aims to introduce the role of universities in shaping the social and political consciousness of individuals, including the promotion of a culture of human rights.
The workshop included a lecture presented by Dr. Firas Abbas Hashim, during which he explained the role of universities as a vital institution in building a culture of human rights and developing the political awareness of individuals through education, research and community participation.
