University of Basra organizes a workshop on the impact of pollution on human health

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Basra organized a workshop on pollution and its impact on human health.

The workshop aimed to identify the relationship between health and the environment, as well as the nature and sources of environmental pollution.

The workshop included two lectures given by Dr. Raja Abdul Kazim and Dr. Maiyad Khalaf Hussein, during which they explained the types and methods of treating air pollution, its sources, causes, diseases it causes, as well as ways to prevent it.  Water pollution, its sources, types, basic standards for water filtration, and methods of treatment were also discussed.
