University of Basra organizes a Qur'anic forum in honor of the last nights of Ramadan

 

The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Holy Quran House at the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, organized a Quranic forum in honor of the last nights of the holy month of Ramadan.

 

The Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Majid Asghar Mohammed, said that the forum was held under the slogan "Ramadan is the spring of the Holy Quran" to promote students' interest in the Holy Quran and spread Quranic culture to build the Islamic character of the university student.

 

He added that the forum included a competition in the recitation of the Holy Quran among a group of international reciters and preservationists.
