University of Basra holds a lecture on instructional design
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a lecture on instructional design for the second unit of the fourth teaching methods course, within the administrative specialization.
The lecture, which is part of the teaching methods course for the updated curriculum of the fourth southern region within the administrative specialization, aims to acquire the necessary modern teaching design skills according to the standards of blended learning.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Manaf Abdul Kazim Muhammad and Marwa Musa Atwan, included the concept of instructional design, its importance, the difference between instructional design and teaching design, its types, its benefits, the theoretical foundations of instructional design, its stages, the characteristics of a good instructional design model, and the types of design models (ADDIE model, Bloom's Cognitive Pyramid).
The lecture recommended the need to move forward with modern techniques in instructional design, and to familiarize themselves with many theories of instructional design.
