The first joint exams between the University of Basra and private universities and colleges
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and as part of efforts to promote academic cooperation between public and private universities, the first joint exams between the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Basra and its counterpart at Al-Maqal University were launched.
This step came after the formation of a central committee under the supervision of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Haider Khazal, and the members of Prof. Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Prof. Dr. Shukri Shaker Faleh, Director of Registration and Student Affairs.
A joint coordination committee was formed between the two deanships of the two colleges, which assumed the tasks of identifying exam materials, developing questions, and selecting the participating student groups, in order to ensure the standardization of academic standards and raise the level of scientific evaluation.
