The Faculty of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized an awareness campaign to combat the scourge of drugs with the active participation of students and faculty members.
The campaign aimed at highlighting the dangers of drugs and the health of individuals, emphasizing the importance of community cohesion and motivating young people to confront this dangerous scourge.
The campaign included pasting and distributing awareness posters at the entrances and corridors of the college, highlighting the health and social harms of drugs.
Dr. Shaker Wadi Al-Asadi, the head of the Media and Government Communication Division at the college, said that the campaign supports the university's ongoing efforts to enhance social awareness and protect individuals from the dangers of drugs by disseminating information related to their prevention and warning of their negative impact on society.
