Launch of the First Joint Exams Between the University of Basrah and Private Universities and Colleges
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic collaboration between public and private universities, the first joint examinations have officially begun between the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basrah and its counterpart at Al-Maqal University.
The President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, along with the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Haider Khazaal, and committee member Professor Dr. Shukri Shakir Faleh, visited Al-Maqal University to observe the progress of the joint exams.
A joint coordination committee was also formed between the deanships of both colleges. The committee was tasked with selecting exam subjects, formulating questions, and choosing the participating student groups—ensuring unified academic standards and enhancing the overall quality of scientific assessment.
