University of Basra organizes a workshop on the Special Needs Law
The Faculty of Law at the University of Basra organized a workshop on the Law on the Rights of Persons with Special Needs No. 38 of 2013.
The workshop aims to introduce the Special Needs Law and define the concept of disability in Iraqi law.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by faculty member Hussein Iyad, who discussed the definition of people with special needs and the appropriate means of dealing with this group, taking into account their specific factors, most importantly health, cultural, social and educational factors.
