University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Pesticide Preparations and Their Applications
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Basra Agriculture Directorate, organized a workshop on pesticide preparations and their applications.
The workshop aimed to identify the most important preparations available on the market, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages, as well as how to calibrate sprayers and holders in agricultural fields.
The workshop, presented by Professor Dr. Alaa Hassan Radhi and Dr. Amjad Abbas Fadhel, covered the basics of pest control, comprehensive knowledge of reading pesticide labels, concentrations, the type of machines, sprayers, and holders used, how to calibrate them to ensure their efficiency, and accurately calculate the required amount of pesticide.
