University of Basra Organizes a Charity Market to Benefit Needy Families
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a charity market, the proceeds of which will be allocated to needy families and orphans in Basra Governorate.
The Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, stated that the college organized the charity market to mark the sixty-first anniversary of the university's founding.
He added that the goal of the charity market is to promote national products. The market will include the display and sale of students' artwork and handicrafts, in addition to traditional Basra dishes. The proceeds will be allocated to assist needy families and orphans in Basra Governorate.
