A Lecturer at University of Basrah Publishes a Study in an International Journal
Dr. Zainab Najm, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, published a study titled "Adverse Effects Following COVID-19 Vaccination and Its Association with Age, Gender, and Comorbidities in the City of Basra" in the Emirati journal Current Drug Safety with an impact factor of 2.1.
The aim of the study was to identify clinical symptoms that occur after receiving the vaccine, in addition to examining their association with the demographics of the respondents and the type of vaccine they received.
This cross-sectional study included individuals who received the COVID-19 vaccine in the city of Basra using a questionnaire that included demographic data, chronic diseases, vaccine type, vaccination status, and side effects after receiving the vaccine.
