The Faculty of Law at the University of Basra organized a workshop on the impact of drugs on the human body.
The workshop aims to introduce the impact of drugs on the human body as it is one of the most serious issues threatening societies in the modern era.
The workshop included a lecture by faculty member Hassan Hammad Hamid, who explained that drugs are a societal scourge that greatly affects individuals and societies, and causes health, social and economic issues. Therefore, it is important to intensify awareness efforts, provide the necessary support to individuals at risk of drugs, and work to strengthen laws and policies to limit the spread of this scourge.
