University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Measurement and Evaluation in Applied Disciplines
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah held a scientific lecture as part of the fourth teaching methods course, Unit 3, on the topic of "Measurement and Evaluation in Applied Disciplines."
The lecture aimed to enhance trainees' understanding of the concepts of measurement and evaluation and develop their skills in designing assessment tools appropriate for applied disciplines.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Zainab Ali Khalaf, included a review of assessment types, methods for distinguishing between measurement tools, the foundations of constructing effective tests, and methods for formulating objective and essay paragraphs in a manner consistent with the nature of applied subjects.
