For Sustainable Development and Environmental Preservation, University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Environmental Pollution
The Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies Center organized a seminar on the phenomenon of environmental pollution and its impact on Iraqi society.
The seminar, presented by lecturer Muslim Khuraibit, aimed to develop effective solutions to address the increasing phenomenon of environmental pollution in contemporary societies, in order to support sustainable development plans for environmental conservation.
The seminar included a scientific analysis of the increasing phenomenon of "congestion" globally, regionally, and locally, and the resulting health and psychological crises for individuals and human communities. It also addressed the impact of this phenomenon on the gross domestic product (GDP) in industries and commodity exchange. It also addressed understanding the complex relationship between humans and the environment and how to achieve a balance between them.
