University of Basrah Organizes a Quran Recitation Ceremony
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah held a religious ceremony to complete the Quran recitation. The ceremony was attended by first-year morning studies students, under the supervision of the supervising committee and under the direct guidance of the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli.
The ceremony included a recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the deceased academics and martyrs of Iraq and the Islamic nation. This was followed by recitations of portions of the Quran by faculty members and students.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants.
This ceremony aims to promote Quranic culture, refine the soul, and instill Islamic values among students.
