A Faculty Member from the University of Basrah Participates in a Conference on the Role of Educational Institutions in Advancing Scientific Development
Dr. Dunia Salman Mohsen, a faculty member at the College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah, participated in the scientific conference titled “The Role of Educational Institutions in Advancing the Scientific and Educational Reality”, held at the University of Sulaymaniyah.
Her participation included presenting a research paper titled “The Impact of Religious Education in Confronting Violence, Extremism, and Terrorism in Islamic Thought.”
The study aimed to highlight the role of religious education and awareness in confronting intellectual diseases that promote violence, extremism, and terrorism. This is achieved by reinforcing human values through education, promoting sound thinking, and refuting misguided ideas.
