University of Basrah Faculty Participate in Artificial Intelligence Applications Symposium
A number of faculty members from the College of Arts at the University of Basrah participated in the symposium "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Librarianship," organized by the Kurdistan Library Association in cooperation with Al-Mada Printing and Publishing House in Erbil.
Dr. Amal Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Wahid chaired the scientific committee for the first session, while Dr. Ali Abdul Samad Al-Farhad participated as chairman of the symposium's preparatory committee.
The symposium witnessed broad participation from academics and specialists in the field of information and knowledge technologies, with a number of scientific research and studies presented by a group of faculty members in the same specialization.
The symposium reached a number of conclusions and recommendations, most notably the emphasis on the need to prioritize graduates of the Information and Knowledge Technologies Department and enable them to keep pace with the rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
