The President of the University of Basrah Participates in the Celebration of the College of Education in Qurna on the Occasion of the University’s 61st Anniversary
The College of Education in the Qurna district witnessed a joyful celebration marking the 61st anniversary of the founding of the University of Basrah. The event was attended by the university’s president, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, accompanied by a number of department heads. They were welcomed by the college’s dean, faculty members, and a group of students.
The celebration commenced in an atmosphere filled with pride and appreciation for the university’s rich history. During the event, the university president delivered a speech in which he emphasized the pioneering role of the University of Basrah in serving the community and producing scientific talents that have contributed to the development of Iraq.
