University of Basrah Organizes Campaign to Raise Awareness of Drug Risks
The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and their impact on individuals and society.
The Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, stated that the campaign included the distribution of several educational posters against the scourge of drugs in several locations and corridors within the college to educate students about the dangers of this scourge that threatens the security of society.
He added that the campaign aims to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and ways to prevent it, and to highlight its psychological, social, and health effects. This is part of the college's commitment to creating a healthy and safe university environment.
