University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Conference on the Development of Constitutional Thought in Iraq
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a scientific conference on the development of constitutional thought in Iraq, coinciding with the centenary of the drafting of the first constitution in Iraq.
Dr. Majid Abdul-Hamid Al-Kaabi, Dean of the College of Arts, stated in his opening remarks that the conference sessions will discuss the development of constitutional thought and its impact on the construction of the modern state (1925–2025).
He added that the conference will include four scientific sessions to discuss more than 28 peer-reviewed research papers, all of which are ready for publication in the College of Arts Research Journal.
