University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Choosing Scientific Majors for Women
The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on choosing appropriate scientific majors for women and the requirements of the labor market.
The workshop aims to implement the program of the Third National Plan for Women, Security, and Peace for the year 2025.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers in which the researchers highlighted the need to identify scientific majors that are compatible with the needs of the labor market for women, the importance of enhancing the role of women in scientific fields and their role in community development, and a review of best practices and programs supporting women's empowerment in various scientific fields.
