University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Early Detection of Breast Cancer
The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on early detection of breast cancer.
The workshop aimed to educate students about the seriousness of breast cancer and how to detect it early.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers, during which researchers discussed Iraqi statistics on breast cancer incidence and explained the most important symptoms and signs associated with it. They also discussed diagnosis, treatment, and prevention methods. Students were also trained on breast self-examination using simulation dolls.
