University of Basrah Receives Delegation from the Open College of Education in Al-Qurna
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah received a delegation from the Open College of Education in Al-Qurna as part of a scientific and cultural program aimed at strengthening communication between colleges and introducing the museum's scientific and educational legacy.
The visit aimed to familiarize the delegation with the museum's contents, including environmental models, skeletons, and stuffed animals. The delegation was also given a simplified explanation of mummification methods, the importance of biodiversity in Iraq, and the role of museums in documenting the environment and disseminating scientific culture.
The visit included an introductory tour of the museum's halls, where attendees expressed great interest in the information on display, praising the staff's efforts in preserving this scientific edifice.
