University of Basrah Organizes Cross-Country Running and Athletics Competition
The Student Activities Department at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, organized a cross-country running and athletics competition on the occasion of University Day under the patronage of the University President.
A team from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology participated in the competition, with player Haider Ahmed taking first place in the 400-meter race and second place in the 100-meter race. The event was attended by Dr. Mu'ayyad Hamid Al-Khafaji, Head of the Student Activities Unit, and a number of university members, in a sporting atmosphere that fostered a spirit of competition and university belonging.
