University of Basra organizes a workshop on selecting reputable scientific journals
The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a workshop on the mechanism of publishing in international journals with a high impact factor.
The workshop aims to introduce the mechanism of writing scientific research, clarify the methods of selecting international scientific journals with a high impact factor, as well as discuss the scientific methods of writing for research to be published in the journals.
The workshop included a lecture presented by Dr. Asaad Yahya, an instructor at the college, during which he gave a detailed explanation of the publication process and the administrative structure of these scientific journals, the knowledge of some vocabulary of international journals and the requirements of the journals according to the publishing entity, and the search process for specialized journals in Scopus, an internationally accredited website.
