A research team from the University of Basra visits the General Company of Iraq Ports
The University of Basra's Technology Incubation Unit organized a visit to the Marine Pollution Division at the General Company of Iraq Ports (GCIP) for a group of faculty members from the Marine Science Center (MSC).
The visit aimed to view the exhibition of miniature models of specialized naval vessels in the field of pollution treatment.
The visit also included a review of the materials and tools used in the treatment of oil pollution according to mechanical and chemical methods.
At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed their desire for scientific cooperation between the university and the Iraqi Ports Company to treat oil pollution.
