University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Causes of Extremism
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, organized a workshop on the causes and consequences of extremism and terrorism.
The workshop aims to support the efforts of the education sector in countering extremist ideology in society and educational institutions.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers, in which the researchers explained the concept of extremism as an imbalance between religion and science, the educational, cultural, and intellectual project emanating from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, and the fight against terrorism through family interactions.
