The General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the impact of poverty and unemployment on society between reality and hope.
The seminar aimed to add new solutions to enhance sustainable development plans and programs in order to reduce unemployment and poverty rates to acceptable global levels.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Zahraa Hamid Khalil, concluded that it is necessary to pay attention to planning programs and balance in production and consumption policies and work to provide job opportunities, support small projects and develop production.
