University of Basra Holds a Course on Financial Accounting
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a course on financial accounting.
The course aims to introduce participants to the basic concepts of financial accounting, including recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and understanding generally accepted accounting principles. It also aims to enable participants to apply the accounting course efficiently and use financial information to make administrative and economic decisions.
The course, presented by Mustafa Ahmed Mohsen, included the concept of financial accounting, components of the accounting system, accounting principles, accounting entry theories, the accounting cycle, practical examples and cases of analyzing financial operations using the budget equation and preparing the trial balance.
