University of Basra faculty participate in the first patent exhibition
Dr. Falah Maroof Matlak, Dr. Ahmed Yousef Hammoud and Dr. Iman Abdullah Abdulali participated in the first patent exhibition held at the University Treasures College in cooperation with the Iraqi Association of Innovators and Inventors.
The participation included the presentation of their patents, which were summarized in the extraction of new materials from some aquatic plants against germs associated with post-operative wound infections, the extraction of new biologically effective materials from some marine invertebrates to produce nanofine (ferrite) to remove contamination with petroleum hydrocarbons, and the production of a biologically metabolized material and scientifically prove its efficiency in reducing ammonia gas associated with raising domestic poultry.
