University of Basra organizes a seminar on the life of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him)
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, organized a seminar on the biography of Imam Ja'far bin Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon them)
The symposium aims to introduce the prominent Islamic figures who left a clear impact on the march of humanity and science.
The seminar included the presentation of several research papers during which researchers highlighted the scientific and leadership aspects of the personality of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), emphasizing his pioneering role in laying the foundations of Islamic and scientific thought, and being one of the most prominent Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt who combined jurisprudence, philosophy, and natural sciences, until many scholars considered him one of the pioneers of science in Islamic history.
