University of Basra organizes a workshop on scientific dissection methods for animals
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Veterinary Hospital, organized a workshop on scientific dissection methods to take samples from dead or infected animals and use them in the diagnosis of epidemic and infectious diseases.
The workshop aimed to present the latest dissection methods used in the detection of serious and transmissible diseases.
The workshop, which was attended by a number of teachers, included introducing the scientific methods of dissecting infected and dead animals and revealing the cause of their death by taking blood and lymph samples or tissue biopsies to detect pathological injuries in animals.
