University of Basra receives children from Dar Al Fikr Kindergarten
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basra received a group of children from Dar Al-Fikr Kindergarten, as part of the educational visits program aimed at enhancing the environmental awareness and knowledge of children in their early stages.
The visit aimed to consolidate the principles of interest in the environment and natural life among children, in addition to enhancing the educational aspects through interactive and field learning.
The visit program included an introductory tour inside the museum, where the children were exposed to a wide range of stuffed creatures and natural models that represent the environmental and animal diversity in Iraq, in addition to a simple explanation provided by the museum staff in a manner suitable for children's ages, which contributed to arousing their curiosity and enhancing their love of knowledge and discovery.
At the end of the visit, the kindergarten management expressed their thanks and appreciation to the museum staff for the good reception and organization, praising the educational role of the museum.
