University of Basra completes cooling maintenance work
As part of the plan to improve the residential environment for students in the dormitories, the Department of Dormitory Affairs at the University of Basra has completed the maintenance of cooling devices in the dormitory buildings.
This work aims to provide a comfortable and healthy living environment that is suitable for climatic conditions, especially in the summer.
Dr. Maitham Abdul-Hussein Hamid, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, said: "Installation and maintenance work was carried out for air conditioners in a number of internal department buildings, in addition to upgrading the efficiency of existing air conditioners and replacing damaged ones with new ones. Additional equipment was installed in previously unserved rooms and corridors, and periodic preventive maintenance was carried out to avoid future breakdowns."
