A delegation from Jahrom University
The Palm Research Center at the University of Basra received a delegation from Jahrom University in the Islamic Republic of Iran within the framework of scientific cooperation in the field of palm propagation, pest control and land reclamation.
The delegation was accompanied by the director of the center, Dr. Khairallah Mousa Awad and the head of the palm propagation department, Dr. Khayoun Ali Mohsen, to view the tissue culture laboratory and the stages of date palm propagation in it.
The delegation listened to the problems faced by the crops during the stages of propagation, and the delegation confirmed its readiness for scientific cooperation after seeing the qualitative achievement achieved by the center in the field of date palm propagation.
