Dental students organize a visit to a nursing home
Students of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a visit to the Elderly Care Home in Basra.
The visit aims to promote the humanitarian aspect towards the elderly, share their moments and identify their humanitarian needs.
The visit included a number of humanitarian and social activities, positive interaction with the elderly, listening to their stories and needs, distributing symbolic gifts that put a smile on their faces, and providing basic medicines and health supplies, after coordinating with the administration of the home to ensure their suitability.
