University of Basra organizes a workshop on the use of antibiotics in the treatment of fungal infections
The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a workshop on the use of bacterial antibiotics in the treatment of fungal infections.
The workshop aims to introduce the correct use of bacterial antibiotics in the treatment of fungal infections, and whether it is a scientific fact or a clinical myth used by some despite its error.
The workshop included a lecture presented by Dr. Atika Mohammed, an instructor at the college, during which she presented clinical studies showing the use of some bacterial antibiotics, such as tetracycline (as an oral rinse or other forms), to treat fungal infections and their effectiveness when no other alternatives are available or when used as an adjunct to other drugs in AIDS.
