University of Basra organizes a seminar on the phenomenon of linguistic and auditory stumbling
The Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies Center organized a seminar on the phenomenon of linguistic and auditory stumbling from the perspective of psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics.
The seminar aimed to support scientific research and expand knowledge in the fields of language, brain and behavior.
The seminar, presented by Aliaa Hadi Salem, addressed the phenomenon of linguistic and auditory stumbling as one of the phenomena of applied linguistics that should not be viewed as language failures but rather as educational opportunities that reveal the mechanisms of mental cognition and neurological and psychological functions associated with the use of language as those that occur in both the native language and the acquired language, and are often due to multiple cognitive, neurological or psychological factors.
