The Center for Marine Sciences at the University of Basra organized an educational seminar on how to meet the needs of people with disabilities and how to deal with them in support of sustainable development plans to reintegrate them into societies and achieve equality with different segments of the human race.
The seminar addressed ways for Iraqi universities to provide services to their blind, deaf and dumb students, nurture their talents and creativity in extracurricular activities, and how to provide psychological support for them.
