University of Basra organizes a workshop on green production
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a workshop titled "Green Production" to promote the concepts of environmental sustainability in industrial processes.
The workshop, presented by researcher Haider Sabah Al-Majdi, included the importance of adopting production techniques based on recyclable materials, clean manufacturing, and minimizing emissions and waste.
The workshop also discussed the benefits of green production, the challenges facing its application, as well as its long-term effects on the environmental, social and economic levels. This workshop comes as part of the university's efforts to support sustainable practices and encourage a green economy.
